12 July 2013 what if Partnership firm providing manpower supply services & in this case PF have to pay ST on 25% under reverse charge but due to some reason PF not taken reg number in 1st year i.e 01/04/2012 to 31/03/2013 & apply for reg after in 15/07/2013 then in this case , whether PF have to pay ST on previous year income on which they have not paid ST or ST is applicable from the date of registration number date?? please reply as soon as possible.

12 July 2013 Firstly Reverse Charge is applicable to Service Receiver and no to Service Provider. IF Partnership firm is service provider and not crossed the limit of 10 lacs, there is no need tpo pay service tax.

24 August 2013 Yes the view of the expert is correct and you are not affected by the reverse charges calculation it is the service receiver who calculates and pays the ST
