27 August 2016 I HAVE MY CS EXECUTIVE EXAMS IN COMING DECEMBER... MY PROBLEM IS REGARDING FORM 112(PERMISSION TO PERSUE OTHER COURSES) IN ARTICLE REGISTRATION. IF I NEED TO MENTION CS IN IT, THEN WITH WHOM SHOULD I GET IT SIGNED? (I.E IN THE BOX SIGN OF THE PRINCIPAL & STAMP OF THE COLLEGE)

20 July 2025 In Form 112 (used to seek permission from ICAI to pursue another course along with articleship), if you're pursuing CS Executive, here's how to fill and sign it correctly:

✅ Where to Mention CS Course:
In Form 112, under the section "Details of the Course/Study", mention:

Course Name: Company Secretary (Executive)
Institution Name: Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
Mode of Study: Generally it’s correspondence or distance learning, unless you’re attending oral coaching classes or a regular institute
✍️ Signatures Required:
1. Principal’s Signature (CA under whom you are doing Articleship):

Mandatory.
Your principal must sign and stamp the form as a confirmation that they are aware and have no objection to you pursuing CS Executive along with your articleship.
2. College/Institution Seal and Signature:

Since ICSI is not a traditional college, and if you're doing CS Executive through distance learning, you do not need a college seal.
Instead, write “Distance learning – ICSI” in the column.
ICAI generally accepts this for courses without physical attendance.
📝 Additional Tips:
Attach a self-declaration stating that CS Executive is pursued through distance mode and doesn’t interfere with your articleship timings.
File Form 112 within 30 days of starting the course, otherwise a condonation letter and late fee may be required.
