Refund of Service Tax on rent

19 June 2009 The Landmark judgement recieved from Delhi high court regarding not to pay Service Tax on rent
I want to know that the Service Tax which we have paid earlier on rent,we will get refund and if yes what is the Procedure for the same?

20 June 2009 You could apply for refund as long as the ST has not been collected form the tenent. However the matter has now been taken to the SC therefore decision may take some time. If amounts are substantial then apply.
