Refund in the case of deceased assessee

20 September 2011 Dear Sir,

How to get the refund in the case of deceased assessee as the refunds are returned to the refund banker by the postal department. Representative assessee filed petitions before the I.T. Dept., by enclosing death certificate and family members certificate. There is no response from the dept. Let us inform the procedure in the case of deceased assessee.
