01 August 2011 Please tell me that "Is there any compulsion for a company to reappoint Managing director by holding an Annual General meeting or this matter can be taken up by holding a Board Meeting for the same?"

02 August 2011 Appointment of Managing Director is basically done by the General Meeting but it can also be appointed by Board but that appointment need the approval of the general meeting.
