On behalf is only possible if on which behalf HUF making payment has her/his own source of income.
HUF can make investment on the name of family members and take the exemption in the income tax.

But my CA is saying that HUF can't invest on behalf of daughter or grand daughter means investment on behalf female in HUF category is not possible.... if you think its wrong & you are right please give me the link or any case where its seems to be true.
