i want to know the detail about provident fund contribution by the employer,limit on contribution, and sction related to that, and if the employer contribute more than such limit,is it taxable ? and whom its?

25 February 2010 Employer contribution limit is 12 % and if the employer contribute more 12 % is taxable in the hands of employee is the what ever excess suppose 15 % contribution(15-12) 3% contribution is taxable for empoyees refer sec.17
