Everyone I am currently auditing of a Pvt. Ltd. Company in which there are some transactions of Professional Tax it is new area for me. Can any one share basic summary of Professional Tax and Basic Idea so that I audit it.

Professional tax is deducted by the employer from the employees salary based on the slab provided by the state PT act
