i am an ipcc student studying by myself from study mat. please tell me what books should i buy for both groups so that i can clear both groups in first attempt.

Only study material will not help out. You need to refer some good books,prepare notes and solve previous years question papers to cultivate the habit of preparing for CA exams. First of all set your objectives clear,work out a plan, plan you timings, concentrate on your preperation, imporve your writing skills,practice time management and finally face exams with confidence.
Regarding books, you can buy CA publications from various authors, for tax buy those books where in you find theory,problems and case laws (Taxmann will be handly). Most of the subject which you study in IPCC will be repeated in Final but, only thing is that you need to know in advance at that stage. So, prepare using some good books right now and it will be helpful for you in the final.
