Perquisit on Accomodation by employer

13 January 2010 Sir,

I have been provided accomodation by employer but i do not get HRA and Srvice charges deducting from my salary.

So, I want to know calcualtions for the finaicial year 2009-10

14 January 2010 You will not get HRA exemption benefit when you are provided an accomodation by the employer. Prquisite will de added to your salary @ 15% of your taxable salary (excluding perquisites) & tax shall be deducted accordingly.
