12 February 2014 If government employees received pension after retirement than such pension is taxable? and if it is taxable than under which head it will be mention, under the head "salary" or "other sources".

12 February 2014 'Income from salary' is the appropriate 'head of income'.

12 February 2014 SEE THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF PENSION ..COMMUTED AND UNCOMMUTED ..UNCOMMUTED IS TAXABLE FOR ALL TYPES OF EMPLOYESS UNDER THE HEAD SALARY..HOWEVER COMMUTED IS NOT TAXABLE FOR GOV. EMPLOYEE.
