07 April 2008 I M GETTING PROBLEM FOR PAYMENT ONLINE AS NSDL SITE IS JAAM. MY QUERY IS DO I MAKE PAYMENT BY CHEQUE FOR THIS MONTH AS THIS IS YEAR END DO I WILL GET PENALTY IF I MAKE PAYMENT BY CHEQUE. PLEASE REPLY URGENT

08 April 2008 online payments can be made from any bank which has on line facility.
otherwise also you can make ECS PAYMENTS.
RTGS FACILITY IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR INSTANT PAYMENTS FOR WHICH ONE SHOULD KNOW THE RTGS CODE.
ONLINE PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED BY CASH OR CHEQUE OR D.D.

08 April 2008 yes u r right, but we have made payment by cheque as usual how we make the payment to the recognised bank which is also for epayment but my query is do i will get penalty as ihve not made payment through netbanking.
