20 November 2012 There is one of my client who wish to have a PAN card of her wife.I have applied with the ID & Resi proof -Voters ID card only both side,got the PANcard.

Now the client argueing that He want his name on Pancard-i.e. he is the husband of his wife instead of the married woman's father's name, he wants his name.He has no other proof.

How is that possible??

20 November 2012 PAN card will appear only father name. even Married women also need to give the father name only in application, that is the rule. issue PAN card correct only. tell this to client

21 November 2012 Thank you for reply, further i convinced him regarding the said matter, now he is asking that the name of her wife appearing on PANcard is nargisbanu shekh only, now he wants to correst d name by nargisbanu irfan shekh is it possible.???

21 November 2012 yes. that is possible providing a proper name proof for the mentioned name submitting to Income tax department
