Sir I have HUF in the name of my father how to change the existing karta after his demise as my father was the karta previously,As well i do not no HUF deed i have only PAN card of HUF.Please give me the solution.

To change the Karta without an HUF deed, the eldest coparcener automatically assumes the role. You must draft a notarized joint affidavit signed by all surviving members consenting to the new Karta. Use this affidavit alongside the father's death certificate to update the authorized signatory details on the HUF PAN card via Form 49A, and submit these same documents to the bank to update the account operations.
