03 May 2010 If you have more than 1 PAN, you need to surrender PAN, except the one you wish to retain.

You need to fill the form for changes or correction in PAN data. At sl. no. 10 of the form, mention the PAN you want to surrender.

09 May 2010 surrender is required only in case, one has more than one PAN card. otherwise it is not possible. if you have only one PAN card, then why you want to surrender it?
