Dear Sir/Madam,
Is it necessary to submit original saving proofs and original rent receipt to employer to get the exemptions under TDS on salary.
if yes/no where can i get the written clarification/notification.

Hi
You need to produce original for verification and submit photocopy as a proof u/s Ch VI-A, under IT act there is no requirement for submitting original documents.

you can submit the photocopy of the proof and get the deduction of tax saving investment and rent receipts.
