15 September 2010 Sir,
Whether can I file a suit against State Govt. for nonpayment of AUDIT FEES for 2008-09 in spite of lot of telephone and reminder letter? All the reports etc. have already submitted together with our professional Bill.

Pl.quote clause of ETHICS, if any.

15 September 2010 yes, if u want. it will be a civil suit for recovery involving time and money.

Can I file a suite to the STATE GOVT., if an audit fee is overdue for 2008-09.Inspite of various reminders send to them and all the reports are already submitted in due time.
Whether I may face any misconduct under code of ethics, if I will move against STATE GOVT. for nonpayment.

Please provide me ELABORATED DETAIL on Clause 8 Code of Ethics .matter is related to:
Clause (8) - Practicing member prohibited from accepting a position previously held by another chartered accountant without first communicating with him in writing together with Decided Cases under Clause (8),if possible ,particularly if audit fee is s outstanding of previous period.
