Mistake in ay09-10 return can be rectified now ??

i had filed itr-1 of one of my client in dec 2010. although tax was properly deducted at source, still i made self assessment payment of rs.4000.

can we apply for rectification u/s. 154 and get the refund ?

24 May 2012 If you calculate wrong tax liability, the same shall be corrected by CPC while processing the return and automatic refund shall be generated.
