30 October 2010 can u tell me my father is a retiered government person.& he get their monthly pension more than 10000. now he is work as a privat empolyee in a firm (name surya roshini ). his salary is 12000. now sir plz tell me will they fill income tax return.bcoz he is not covered under income tax act.plz sir reply so soon. as per my knowledge pension not include my father salary .plz reply so soon

30 October 2010 Pension is taxable under the head salary. So the person's gross total income per annum comes to Rs.2,44,000/- (pension plus salary from M/s Surya Roshini). Income tax return has to be filed.
