05 June 2010 I want to surrender my service tax number but the problem is my orignal Service Tax Registration Certificate/ST-2 is lost. can any one pls help me out its very urgent 4 me.

07 June 2010 Provide the number / photcopy and seek closure. You may mention that the original is lost. Also provide your past years financials. Ensure you get a dated acknoweldgement or send by RPAD/ Speed Post.

14 June 2010 Avoit it. Now its time for online registration and surrender. File application for TPIN and Login. activate your service tax registration then surrender your ST-2 online. Now there is no meaning of hardcopy of ST-2.
