Can i avail rebate for myself only if housing loan taken jointly with my wife, however she will not claim any rebate in this regard. me only paying EMI through my single A/C

Rebate will be allowable for the owner of the house property & actual loan taken person. owner of the house property 1st condition need to satisfy
Where the property is under ownership of more than 1 person, then the deduction also will be proportionately can be taken
