does the resultant company need to be listed after demergerof a public limited company?

Hello,
As per my understanding Listing of any company on STX is not mandatory in any condition. It is totally a management decision.

After Demerger, the resultant Company may be a Private Limited Co, may be a Public Ltd Co.
And It is upto thye management to decide what will be the status of the resultant Co.
But So far as Listing is Concerned, you have to see the Resultant Company is Public or not.
Once it fulfills all the Criteria to become a Public Ltd. Co, then you go for listing.
