Can I claim for refund of excess tax paid, if I file my returns after 31st july?

Yes... you can file your returns even after the due date of 31/07 & claim your refund.

yes you can file belated return if you not file original return on or before 31st july.

Yes you can But If you do not file within due date the only disadvantage you will loose certain portion of interest on the refund amount.

yes you can file after due date to claim refund but in case of refund after 31st july if you file on 1-2 aug then also your refund will be received exess 2-4 month after normal due date refund... so pls file bf due date.
