Dear sir,
My client has got compensation for give her land buiding for road widening. She got Rs.315000/- and TDS has been deducted Rs31500/-. She had no other income and her house was so old which was constructed before 35 years.
How can i calculate Capital Gains and get refund.

Compensation amount will become the full value of consideration and indexed cost or FMV as on 1-4-1981 (indexed) will become cost of acquisition the diff will be LTCG
