One of my friend wants to file back dated return for a period of 5 years including f.y 2015-16. His Income is below Basic Exemption Limit.
Can he file Back dated return.?
Also he has received notice from Income tax Dept for filing Return. But his Income is Below basic Exemption Limit.
Can Anyone suggest whether it is possible to file Return for 5 years?

Reply to the notice as return not filed in view of income below taxable limit. You can file the return only for FY 2014-15 and 2015-16.
