20 November 2017 Can an assessee having non-taxable income(only salary income) file IT return after 1 year , if not; will he be penalised by the IT department for non filing of IT return ; if yes , whether he should file the return with fine?

20 November 2017 No penalty will be levied for prior assessment years but from AY 2017-18 penalty will be levied for late filing.
