18 July 2015 In 26AS the amt of Interst paid by bank is Rs 15641 while tds of Rs. 1292 is deducted as 15G was filled later on. so in ITR how to disclose?

18 July 2015 In the ITR you have to disclose the interest receipt of Rs 15641 and tds of 1292.

18 July 2015 Show the actual amount of Interest earned. Sometimes all amount are not shown in 26AS. Take Interest Certificate from Bank. If you have net banking facility you can also generate it online. Interest certificate will include both Saving A/c interest and Deposit A/c interest.

Show entire interest as per certificate under Income from other sources. Claim deduction for Saving Bank Interest u/s 80TTA subject to maximum of Rs 10000/-.
