Hi,
If an assessee completed 60 years of age in September 2010, is there any specific procedure for claiming exemption for senior citizen for the assessment year 2011-12? Pl note that the asessee has salary and professional income.

the age limit of 60 years is applicable for previous year 2011-12 and for 2010-11 the age limit is 65 years
