Hi
i just want to know that i lost my excise invoice in transit, so my customer is refusing to pay the amount of excise duty and cess thereon..can i issue a duplicate invoice?
what are the procedures for same and in which section these are covered?

IN EXICES TOTAL NUMBER OF FOUR COPIES ARE MADE ONE COPY FOR TRANSPORT SECON COPY FOR BUYERS ONE COPY FOR OWNED YOU AARE DESTPATCH ORIGINAL COPY THROUGH POST /CORIOUR IF ORIGINAL COPY IS LOST THEN YOU WILL GIVE XEROX COPY TO THE BUYER
