Is tds and vat charegeable at same time?

02 July 2014 lets assume i have order product worth rs 260000 and supplier charge VAT only...so my question is that should TDS is also deducted or not..???

02 July 2014 if you had purchased something no tds will be deducted dear


but if the bill is of aggregate amount like material plus labour, then though vat is being charged we can deduct tds on the whole amount
