No..Audited balance sheet need to be signed or audited only if it is in the limt mentioned u/s 44AB i.e turnover is more than 40 laks or if profession then receipts are more than 10 lakhs.

Agree, not required if turnover in limit e.i. below Rs.40 laks or Rs.10 laks.
