01 June 2014 I want to self study for ipcc law nov 2014. Which books can be referred for the amendment in company law? I have attended coaching for the earlier company law, and have a good knowledge about it.

01 June 2014 Companies Act 2013 is not applicable entirely.

ICAI has come out with the notification regarding the partial applicability of Companies Act 2013. 98 Notified section will be applicable for Nov 2014 exams. The Central Government has notified 98 sections of the Companies Act, 2013 on 12th September, 2013. Accordingly, those 98 notified sections are applicable for November 2014 examinations corresponding to their bifurcation into the Intermediate (IPC) and Final Course(s), i.e. from these 98 sections, 53 sections have been included in the Paper – 2,Business Laws, Ethics and Communication, Intermediate (IPC)Course, and 45 have been included in the Paper- 4, Corporate and Allied Laws, Final Course. So for Companies Act 2013 read only from the materials issued by ICAI.

01 June 2014 are the provisions (relevant for ipcc) of companies act 2013 just a modification/ amendment of the earlier company act or is it entirely different?

02 June 2014 boss dont think its modification,,,, there are vast vast changes in companies act 13 compare to old one... go throughly with that
