23 July 2009 Dear Sir/Madam,
I have received a notice u/s 143(1). The ITO is asking for demand of Rs. 2712/-. When i filled IT Return online then due to technicl error of Return my negative house property income shown as carry forward losses. and on the basis of that he issued me notice.
Now I want to reply him and reverse the same amount.
Can someone help me by rovising performa letter for the same.

24 July 2009 there is no performa speceifclly prescribed to this, you need to draft a leeter giving the correct details and request the AO to correct your assessment under section 154 of the IT Act.
