Interest on delayed payment of gst

Can anyone confirm me whether Interest on delayed payment of GST is to be paid or not to pay yet?
Any rate of interest is declared by official announcement or Notification by Govt. ?

Late fees/Penalty Rs. 200/- is a different thing. GST Helpdesk advises not to pay interest but I doubt it so if anyone has paid or aware about it, kindly share your opinion.

24 October 2017 Interest on late Deposit @ 18% calculated from Due Date of payment to Actual Date of Payment. If GST not deposited with due date i.e., 20th of Next month then Interest has to be paid.

24 October 2017 Yeah. But can you tell me where this rates are announced or notified? Any notification for the same? Actually GST helpdesk told no need to pay interest because rates are yet to finalise
