06 January 2015 in case of self occupied property if the interest is not paid, whether the int is allowed for deduction u/s 24 (b)

06 January 2015 Section refering the interest payable. so it is accrual basis. you can claim even not paid also

06 January 2015 It is allowed on accrual basis.

06 January 2015 yes once loan is taken for house property but int is not paid but accrued then still on accrual basis it is allowed u/s 24(B)
