01 December 2009 if you are asking for whether input credit of VAT can be adjust against CST payable liablity or not.
As per Gujarat VAT,Yes you can, but first you have to set of your VAT liability and after that if input remains, you can set off this against CST also.
you must see your state law,before go ahead on any opinion.
