Whether credit can be claimed for a purchase in GSTR 2, for which party failed to enter ITC while filling GSTR 1?

you can't claim ask the party to enter it in next month return so that you can claim the credit in next month.

You have to add details of its invoice in GSTR-2 & then ITC available to you on provisional basis.
Same is shown to seller & if he accept the transaction then credit will be confirmed

GSTR 2 is auto populated based on GSTR 1 filed by your sellers. You can't claim credit unless they enter the data.

You can't enter purchase invoices in GSTR 2 it is auto populated. You have to enter only your sales invoices in GSTR 1.

Sir a facility to feed details of invoice is given in GSTR-2A.
