25 September 2008 is e-filing mandatory for individuals also, who are subject to tax audits? last year it was only for tax audited firms. what abt this year? pls. clarify asap. thanx for ur valuable info.

25 September 2008 No, e filing of return with Tax audit report in case of Firms and Company is mandatory. In case of Individuals it may be a paper return

E-Filing is Compulsory for all those audited u/s sec.44AB.
But there is Difference of opinions.
