Income tax refund

22 January 2014 I have uploaded income tax return online for assessment year 2013-14 on 6th August, 2013 with claim of refund about rs.25000/-.
but till today my itr is not processed by cpc.

my question is that what to do get refund?

23 January 2014 After filling you require to send acknowledgement physically to Bangluru within 120 days form the day of filling of return. When they received your copy they mail you ack that they have received it. Then IT Dept will send 143 notice mentioning whether Tax Payable or Refundable.

Then you will get refund if granted.

23 January 2014 as per rules, if itr filed with dsc, there is no need to send acknowledgement physically.
