The assessee has given his flat on rent and at the same time staying on rent.
The Amt received towards rent is taxable under Income from House Property.
However, whether the rent which assessee pays for staying on rent can be claimed as expenses and remainder will be taxable under Income from House Property ?

The rent which the assessee is paying can't be claimed as expense against rental income taxable under income from house property.
