01 October 2013 hi , we r manufecturer. we export goods. but we purchase goods from local state with 4% & export it so what about my payment of sales tax. can i refund or input credit. pls solve it in full detail.

In the case of exporters the tax paid on inputs used for manufacturing purpose becomes excess credit and refund can be claimed at the year end or adjusted against any other tax payments. These provisions are available in all VAT Acts in India.....mjk
