Hra benefit and interest on housing loan

Dear Sir
An employee has claimed HRA from Apr'13 to Oct'13 in NCR and has availed a housing loan in the month of Oct'13 and he is paying Rs 2,38,931 as interest on loan from Oct'13 to Mar'14.
There are four co-applicant for property purchased.
He is claiming 50 % as interest and showing that his wife is not claiming at all and other co-applicants are paying 25 % each.
Should I give him benefit for Rs 119,465/-?
or pro -rate that amount from Nov'13 to Mar'14 ?
Please suggest.
