Housin laon interest certificate for tds

I submitted the interest certificate from SBI winch states that the accrued interest till 31/01/2015 is Rs.1,11,072/- and interest acrual till 31/03/2015 is Rs.21227/- with a copy of the bank statement.But My rejected my and ordered me to produce a certificate for the amount I paid as interest.My question ...Is accrued interest not a criteria for TDS ?

Deduction for interest on money borrowed is allowed on accrual basis (allowed even though interest may not actually have been paid). Obtain a proper certificate for interest accrued for TDS.
