31 January 2010 pls help to solve the following queries in tally
1. how to enter the sales with trade discount?
2.under which head to post opening and closing stock while creating ledgers. if i post it in stock in hand then in p&l and balance it shows net amount

31 January 2010 1.Create the Ledger Trade discount under direct exepenses and while sale entry you can debit the same

2.Create ledger called stock under the group stock in hand and go to p&l account go to the stock and enter the date and stock value

go to inventory info, stock item, create, you can create materials and put opening quantity, rate , value,
