16 April 2009 Dear sirs
It is listen that from April-10 the goods and service tax will applied.Now what is the chances for proceducre and documentation,audit,return filing and assesment.Whether we have to deal with above matter with both excise and vat or either of two?

02 May 2009 As per me neither the policy makers , law makers or the revenue have made much effort to see that the same is released/ made applicable by April 2010. More Likely date maybe 2012, that also if the major issues of state/ centre ; state to state sharing/ unfirmaity/ inclusion of servic etax powers for the states and massive computerisation effort takes place.
