what difference between RG1 and RG23

Both are no longer is the statute. One is a daily production register and the other the is account of the cenvat credit inputs stock and credits.
Today own records are accepted as long as the information required of manufacture, value and excise duty for removals is available and similar details for inputs on whcih credit is availed.
