FORM 26QB correction for jointly owned property

This query is : Resolved

20 September 2024 My wife and I jointly purchased a property in 2022 (50-50 share mentioned in BBA). we have funded the property together almost in a 50-50 ratio as well.
the first two instalments (one in 2022, and one in 2023), we filed form 26QB for the full amount from my wife's PAN.
The last instalment is to be paid in October 2024.
This year I want to claim LTCG tax benefit by showing investment in the sai property.

Do I need to submit form 26 QB from my PAN ?
Should we correct past form 26QB, and show half TDS paid by each?
Can I just submit this instalment TDS entirely?

22 September 2024 1. Yes
2. Not mandatory.
3. Proportionate to the balance payment.
