14 July 2016 Dear Seniors, can you please let me know on demand of employee can we issue part B of form 16 if No TDS was deducted as to employee salary is not taxable, Warm Regard Ankur Gupta

14 July 2016 There is no harm as such in issuing form 16 to the employee even if because of "below taxable" income income tax is NOT required to be deducted.
The growing tendency on the part of employer is that, in stead of issuing form 16, they issue salary certificate...(The format is same as that of form 16 except it is named as salary certificate)
