Forgot to send itrv form.

04 August 2014 Hi,
I am salaried and I had filed my IT return last year before IT due date. However, I forgot to send the ITRV signed form to Banglore office of IT department. I had claimed refund in that return.

Can I send that original ITRV form now and will I get refund ?

Please advice.

04 August 2014 yes u can still send it as the time limit is 120 days from the date of filling itr online

04 August 2014 Now you can file revise return by using the acknowledgement number of original return which you file earlier and send it to CPC. You will get refund once they processed it.

02 September 2014 I am confused... 2 different suggessions... My IT return filing was of FY 2012-13. I filed my return in July 2013 but forgot to send ITRV form within 120 days and now I realised this.

What should I do ?

Shall I file a new return with original acknowledgement no. ?
OR
shall I just post that ITRV form to Income Tax office?
