23 May 2011 I m a student of final(New Course). My deu for final examination was in November-2011. But due to recent provisions of ICAI I was able to appear for may-11 attemp as well. Provions there in apllying to me was "serving the last 6 months of training(including excess leave)as on 1st may 2011 and due to complete training on or before 31st oct 2011". Till May-11 I didn't have any excess leave, but now i m in need of some leave for preparation for my nov attempt. If i take any leave now it would count as excess leave. So, now what are the provisions of ICAI for this situation as I have already filled my form as serving the last six months of training and due to complete on or before 30th oct 2011.

23 May 2011 There is provision that in case of any excess leave the leave days will be further added to your training period, but there is no restriction that you can not take leave.

23 May 2011 actualy the problem is I have already filled up my form saying its the last six months of training and last date of training is before 31st oct 2011. Now if I take any leave my training period will not b completed by that date.
